British photographer Jimmy Nelson's project "Before they Pass Away" is a huge undertaking, seeking to document primitive tribes on a global scale, aiming to highlight their existence as living links to our prehistoric pasts.
These images highlight the lives of these ancient cultures creating a narrative of their own lives for countless generations but on the exchange between the modern world as we know it and these isolated communities (For example the introduction of firearms to the Ethiopian Karo) and what we might learn about our own ancestors from these primitive ways of life from the practical to the philosophical.
